Land.Memory.Season.
The collection began with a feeling of being between what is remembered and what is present. From there, these paintings became an exploration of how we carry people and places with us, and how time transforms both the forms we know and the memories we hold. Earth, color, texture, and objects become ways of tracing that connection. Each work holds a sense of familiarity, impermanence, and the traces that time leaves behind.

Place
Earth from Italy meets earth from Texas, allowing two landscapes to exist within the same work. The paintings become records not only of place, but of the relationship between land, memory, and the person who carries it.
Season
Autumn becomes a study in transition, as greens give way to umber, rust, and deep red. These grounding tones bring a sense of warmth and familiarity, reflecting a season where change feels both quiet and inevitable.
Memory
Places have a way of holding memories, while memory has a way of reshaping the places we remember. Some moments remain vivid, while others exist more quietly, softened by time. Through shifting color and subject, the work explores how memories fade, return, and become something felt as much as seen.
Object
Inspired by aged clay, worn leather, and weathered plaster, the paintings look to objects transformed by time. Their imperfections, muted colors, and accumulated surfaces became a foundation for the collection, exploring how both objects and memories carry the evidence of what they have endured.

Beneath What Lingers
My work is a tribute to the Earth's quiet wisdom and enduring beauty. What ends up on the canvas is less something I create than something I uncover.
